As a gym owner, are you learning from your colleagues and implementing what’s worked for them? As a judge, are you doing anything that will make you more knowledgeable and a better judge? Are you actively working on getting to the top of your game or staying there if you’re already on top?

Are you doing anything to make our industry better? Are you doing anything to address the concerns you have? Are you expressing your concerns, talking about fixes for them, or better yet, are you doing what needs to be done to fix them? We have enough intelligent and passionate people in our industry to get anything we want done once we decide to do something instead of just thinking or talking about it, but too often we don’t make it to the doing phase. Let’s make sure we are doing the things that need to be done to improve ourselves and our industry.
