October has left us and we are now in Worlds bid season for dance teams.

  • Several cheerleading groups engaged in national anthem protests, including groups from the University of Michigan, Omaha Central HS, and Cornell HS.
  • One of the Omaha Central cheerleaders wrote a guest piece for the Omaha World-Herald.

  • KPTV in Oregon published Salem High School Cheerleading Team Embraces Student With Down Syndrome.
  • SuakValley.com published People’s Choice: Local Cheerleader to Appear in Magazine.
  • The Tennessean published TSU Homecoming Honors 101-Year-Old Cheerleader.
  • USASF posted the 2016-17 USASF Dance Divisions & Categories document.
  • MLive published Michigan Alumni Marching Band, Cheerleaders Take Part in Homecoming Game.
