Application deadline: March 1, 2015.
Don’t forget about the Worlds Program Release Waiver requirement. The short version is if you compete for a team of any age or level, in any division, including non-Worlds divisions, from November 1st on, you must get released from that program to compete at Worlds with a different program. The long version is below:
Any athlete that has competed on the floor with a team in any level from a Program (Primary Program), during the Worlds competition season (November 1 – May 1), will have to have a USASF Program Release Waiver signed by the owner of that gym (Primary Program) before that athlete is eligible to compete with another Program (Secondary Program) at the current season Cheerleading Worlds. The USASF Gym Release Waiver is located on the www.USASF.net website.

As a reminder, a new and streamlined Athlete Membership program begins with the 2014-15 season. Membership provides athletes with the opportunity to participate in a safer sport and allows the USASF to administer full support for athletes through current and ongoing programs. As you plan tryout information, remember that an annual Athlete Membership fee of $30 for all athletes begins August 1.
In order to maintain the balance of Paid and At-Large bids awarded for Cheer Worlds, the Sanctioning Committee has adjusted the number of At-Large Bids to be awarded per Paid Bid for the 2014-15 season from three (3) to two (2). The number of available At-Large bids naturally fluctuates each year based on the number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 event producer members, the mix of teams at their bid giving events and the number of Paid bids awarded. This adjustment allows for a more even distribution of bids to The Cheerleading Worlds.
